The Hawaiian islands are lush, green, beautiful and ....expensive. Most people can end up paying thousands of dollars for a Hawaiian get away. When I went to Oahu, the third largest island in Hawaii, I wanted to get the most out of my vacation before it got the most of my bank account. In this video I share three activities you should focus on to keep your budget low while you keep your adventure spirit up.
Oahu has so much to offer
For a lot of people a trip to Oahu can be a once in a lifetime trip. I am lucky enough to have family living there who I visit annually and after multiple trips there are still so many things I want to explore. We used to hike every Sunday when we lived in Utah. We loved catching great views, breaking a sweat and being outdoors. Since we moved to Florida, hiking hasn't been the same. That is why we take every chance we can to hike in Hawaii. On our last trip to Oahu we did four different hikes (might've done more, but if you watch to the end you will see why we didn't) and all of them are in this video.
As you may know, I am not a Mom. However, I am an Aunt and I take that role very seriously! When I am in Oahu, Hawaii I am visiting my sister and her three young children. Musubi or more specifically Spam Musubi is a known Hawaiian snack that can be enjoyed all over the islands. I happen to love Musubi and tend to get it multiple times whenever I'm visiting my family in Oahu. This time, rather than going to the same old spot, I wanted to try a couple of new places.
Atlantis, Paradise Island, Nassau, Bahamas
They call it paradise for a reason - Atlantis waterpark is a labyrinth of constant surprises. A mix of aquariums, waterslides, casinos, restaurants, arcades and more this place is an Adult’s perfect playground.
